Promoting Entrepreneurship in Lebanese Universities
Part of this year's program LLWB organized a series of lectures in 4 different Lebanese universities.
The lectures were held on April 2nd at LAU Beirut, 3rd at ALBA University and Beirut Arab University and on the 4th at University of Balamand.
The topic being: "The way to entrepreneurship from myth to reality".
These lectures where provided by Pr. Joe Tabet. Joe TABET is a senior lecturer at INSEAD (Fontainebleau, FR) and Cranfield University (Bedford, UK). He is also the Managing Partner of Melcion, Chassagne & Cie (www.melcion.com), a team of personal business advisors to entrepreneurs, who help entrepreneurs on strategy, development and corporate finance.
These lectures were followed by a shared life experience from our LLWB members and friends, Mrs Christine Sfeir (Dunkin Donuts), Mr. Fady Sabbagha (Borninteractive) and Miss Rasha Khoury (Dia Diwan).
The audience was very receptive and the interaction great, as students had so many questions to address to Pr. Tabet. The testimonials that followed the presentation, where very exciting to the audience, being given by young entrepreneurs who succeeded in very different fields, like food & beverage, ICT and design.
A second series of lectures would follow in November 2009. |
