LLWB Honors Media and Promotes Lebanese Women in Business
Beirut – September, 2009 - The Lebanese League for Women in Business (LLWB) hosted an Iftar dinner, at the Mayrig restaurant in Gemayzeh, honoring the media for their continuous support in the promotion of women in business.
“We are delighted to have members of the press at this Iftar and consider this continued collaboration between LLWB and the media an opportunity to grow further,” said Hanan Saab, President of the LLWB Board of directors and owner of Pharmamed.
LLWB believes that the media, especially in Lebanon, plays a very important role in promoting women in the world of business and establishing their vital position in the economic development of the country.
The dinner was attended by LLWB members, including women entrepreneurs, executives and professionals
“It is a real pleasure working with these accomplished women and being part of the success in benefiting our community as a whole, as well as encouraging future generations of women to reach their goals,” said Eva Turk, Program Manager at LLWB.
LLWB will also be hosting the Corporate Ambassador’s Program on 25th & 26th September, 2009, at Le Gabriel Hotel, a two-day conference providing a forum for the exchange of ideas between business women in the MENA region and the United States. A number of dignitaries will be present as well as media and business personalities.
LLWB was founded by 11 business women in 2006 to encourage more and more women to “take the lead and succeed”, providing them with opportunities to develop innovative ideas, business networking, enlighten the future generation as well as promote professionalism and leadership. |
