Workshop

TIME MANAGEMENT workshop held at Chtaura Park
Hotel on the 26th of March 2011.

how wise it is to manage time, and how it can make the

UNIFIL: Celebration of the International Women’s
Day with The Lebanese League for Women in
Business
With the support and in the presence of UNIFIL Head of
Mission and Force Commander Major-General Alberto
Asarta Cuevas and UNIFIL Director of Mission Support
Mr. Girish Sinha, the Mission’s National Staff Union,
Gender Unit and Focal Point for Women organized an
event entitled “Work Related Challenges in Changing
Environment” to mark and celebrate the 100th anniversary
of the International Women’s Day on 15 March 2011. more
Global Entrepreneurship Week
Beirut - Wednesday October 20th, 2010 – More than 18 prominent Lebanese organizations spanning across different entrepreneurial support sectors including academia, incubation, finance, media, NGOs and associations, joined hands in an unprecedented move to launch Global Entrepreneurship Week Lebanon 2010 and will take an active part in it. more

In the BRICs and N-11 countries, gender gaps in education, employment, health and political representation are narrowing. At the same time, laws and social norms that have discriminated against women are shifting in some countries. Together, these factors are giving women greater influence and decision-making power within households and markets. more
Launch of the LLWB Beqaa Chapter
On the occasion of the International Women's day, LLWB launched the LLWB BEQAA CHAPTER.
A nucleolus group of 13 ladies gathered on Friday March 5th at Chtaura Park Hotel, in presence of LLWB President Mrs Hanan Saab and LLWB Beqaa Chapter Chairperson, Mrs Najah Jaroush.

Corporate Ambassador Program 2009
After last year’s success, the Lebanese League for Women in Business (LLWB) took the initiative to relaunch the Corporate Ambassadors Program (CAP) in Beirut, Lebanon. This pivotal event is once again in partnership with the Middle East and North Africa Businesswomen’s Network, the U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) and Vital Voices Global Partnership. more
