Maya Nicolas Bakhazi
Born in Lebanon, grew up between Beirut and London. Studied at the International college (IC) in Beirut and at the Lycee Francais - London. Holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from LAU and an executive MBA from the American College in London.
Married to Dr. Ziad Noun
Mother of Gabriella and Sophia Noun.
Graduated from finishing school at the Institut Villa Pierrefeu program in Switzerland after which completed several advanced courses in fine dining with Michelin Star chefs such as Pierre Marin, Patrick Renault and others as well as finished courses in dining and decorative arts (Christies London)
Started a career in Banking and specialized in capital Markets and Private Banking. Handled many tasks with Wedge Group Holdings (corporate investments of H.E. Issam Fares (1995-2000) and in 2003 assisted H.E. Mohamad Safadi in his Personal and corporate investments as well as Safadi Foundation.
Ventured in the food and Beverage Business in 2000, a hobby which became very successful and developed into a full time regional business.
Amongst the concepts developed: Founded Tribeca Coffee and Bagels a coffee chain in 2000 , Founded Pinocchio Restaurant in 2003 , acquired The Beirut Cellar in 2004 , Founded Fiona’s Café in 2005 , Founded Tartufo in 2008.
In 2005, Founded Ventures International, an offshore company investing, operating and managing food and beverage outlets in Lebanon and the Gulf region. (Ex. Sheraton Jeddah and 109 Cavalli café)
