The LLWB has participated at the Entrepreneurship Thinking Forum organized by the University of Balamand on the 4th of December. Mrs Christine Sfeir gave a presentation presenting LLWB to the public and detailing her experience as an entrepreneur.
Mrs Hanan Saab was a Speaker on MEDA Women Entrepreneurs Barcelona Nov 5&6, 2009.
Mrs Hanan Saab – LLWB President has participated on the Middle East delegation at the Women Forum, Deauville Oct 14 – 16, 2009.
LLWB is also participating in the call center recenlty launched by the NGO Women in Technology (WIT). This call center will enable individuals who have urgent questions or concerns about issues pertaining to business, such as Access to financing opportunities, Financial Management, Business Laws, Exporting, Marketing, Communication, Human Resources, Recruitment, Networking, Branching, Franchising, Training, Starting a business, Drafting a business plan, Customer Relationship Management (CRM). LLWB'S intervention will be mostly limited to giving appropriate information to help steer the caller in a direction that's adequate to their request. Please note that within the WIT call center project, being an association of business women, LLWB members will not be providing pro bono, services for which they usually charge a fee.
