The event featured a presentation on Corporate Social Procurement with B.O.T (Bridge.Outsource.Transform) | Lebanon's first impact sourcing platform powered by UNICEF & DOT Lebanon which aims at providing skilled young men and women from marginalized communities in Lebanon with opportunities to access remote freelance digital work.
Managing Director of B.O.T and Country Director of DOT Lebanon Mrs. Marianne Bitar Karam who is also an LLWB member presented the platform and the various ways businesses can benefit from its use. The floor was then open for Q&A, after which space was provided for networking.
The event was attended by LLWB members including representatives from the private sector and business owners, and by members from DOT and representatives from BLC bank.
B.O.T is part of the GIL Program by UNICEF, funded by the Dutch & German Embassies in Lebanon.
